The man is waiting at home, Zuk’Olye, sometimes beat up the poor woman if she did not cook something he likes to eat. The policeman is waiting at the market to collect « taxes » from the poor woman.

But the woman is very strong; she knows that she is doing this for her seven children whom she hopes some day will become somebodies and leave this place.

J’ai du mal à faire un commentaire. Cette situation est inadmissible. Il y a des pauvres partout, c’est vrai, même dans les pays du premier monde. Mais, lorsque c’est 80% de la population qui vit dans la misère dans un pays qui peut nourrir 1 milliards de personnes, il y a de quoi perdre la raison. Il faut une révolution mentale, sociale, politique en RDC. Assez, il faut que ça change
